Bright Raven Psychotherapy and Consulting
Reflection, Renewal, Recovery
Psychotherapy in North Bay, Ontario
The seasons of our lives can be peaceful or challenging; psychotherapy is beneficial at any point during your journey.
People seek therapy for many reasons—sometimes it’s to find relief from anxiety, depression, or trauma; at other times, it’s to change habits, build confidence, process life transitions, or strengthen relationships. At the core of these motivations is a desire to understand oneself better and cultivate a life with more balance, peace, and resilience.
Our mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals can explore, heal, and grow. Through empathetic listening, evidence-based techniques, and collaborative support, we empower our clients to overcome challenges, foster self-awareness, and cultivate resilience. We are committed to honoring each person’s unique journey, guiding them toward a more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic life. Together, we strive to make mental health care accessible, meaningful, and transformative for all.

Why The Raven?
Ravens are exceptionally intelligent and resourceful birds, known for their cleverness, playful trickster nature, and ability to communicate with other animals. They embody adaptability and thrive in diverse ecosystems, symbolizing flexibility and resilience.
Ravens are messengers and guardians of secrets, journeying into the unknown with curiosity and courage to uncover hidden truths and wisdom. They remind us that not everything is as it appears and encourage us to access our inner magic and insight to create meaningful transformation.
Bright Raven, facing east, represents our emotional selves and carries wheat—the staff of life and symbol of life’s sustenance—embodying growth, abundance, and resilience. Ravens teach us the importance of exploration and urge us to trust our intuition, intelligence, inner wisdom, and resourcefulness as we embrace transformational change.
Bright Raven Psychotherapy and Consulting is proud to practice in the territory of Nipissing First Nation, the territory of the Anishinabek, within lands protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850. As settlers, we are grateful to the Indigenous peoples who have been stewards of this land for thousands of years and we are grateful to be able to live and learn on these lands with all our relations. As settlers, our recognition of Indigenous, Métis and Inuit peoples must also be clearly and overtly connected to our collective commitment to make the promise of Truth and Reconciliation real in our communities and in particular to bring justice for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls across Turtle Island.
